PROMO RUN CASE STUDY | ARTIST: BIG VONNO
This case study shows how Rise Up Music Group plans and executes coordinated promo runs that align promotion, content, distribution support, and relationship-building into a single, focused campaign.
A promo run is not about appearances or quick exposure. It is a managed process designed to connect artists with real audiences, real businesses, and real industry relationships — all within a defined timeframe. For this Atlanta promo run, Rise Up Music Group handled the full scope of planning before the artist arrived. While Big Vonno’s music was receiving radio rotation across North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and Philadelphia, our team coordinated pre-scheduled industry meetings, brand collaborations, pop-up events, and professional photo and video coverage.
The run included a private meeting with Grammy Award–winning producer Drumma Boy, along with collaborations with respected Atlanta brands such as Mr Everything Cafe, ATL Sneaker Club, Skate Plug ATL, and Xtraction Vegan Cafe. Each collaboration was chosen for cultural relevance, audience alignment, and long-term relationship potential. In addition to live moments, the promo run produced a library of high-quality photo and video assets captured in professional settings, designed to support ongoing promotion, press, and booking efforts long after the run ended.
A relationship built during this promo run later led to a sold-out performance for the launch of Mr Everything Cafe’s new downtown Atlanta location near Mercedes-Benz Stadium, coordinated and powered by Rise Up Music Group.
Why This Matters: Artists don’t need more hype — they need structure. When promotion, content, distribution, and relationships are handled separately, momentum is hard to maintain. Promo runs solve this by bringing everything together at once, allowing progress to build instead of reset.
This level of planning and execution is available exclusively through Rise Up Music Group’s Full-Time Management bundle packages, where artists receive consistent oversight, coordinated promotion, and long-term career strategy.
This case study reflects our approach to artist management as a system, not a one-time opportunity.
Big Vonno Shares His Experience Using RUMG's Artist Management Packages

First, we set up a meeting with Drumma Boy Fresh for Big Vonno at House of Fresh.
Next, we headed to Xtraction Vegan Cafe.
During the Atlanta promo run, we had Big Vonno collaborate with Xtraction Vegan Cafe, a well-known Atlanta staple, to film a commercial and social media skit on-site. The content was loved by the owner Ms. Sonya and remains in use for their ongoing promotion to this day.
Next, we collaborated with ATL Sneaker Club featuring the owner, Whale (right).
This is where we shot content, supported the business, played unreleased music on the speakers and strategized future collaborations that would be beneficial to both ATL Sneaker Club and Big Vonno.

After our collaboration with the store, Whale (owner of ATL Sneaker Club) took us two doors down the street to introduce us to more business owners on the same block including the owner of one of Atlanta's most famous restaurant chains - Mr Everything Cafe.
These two key collarations became strategic in breaking Big Vonno in Atlanta.
Rise Up Music Group connected Big Vonno with ATL Sneaker Club and Mr. Everything Cafe for a massive grand opening near the stadium in Atlanta. This wasn't just a show; it was a business move that put Big Vonno’s brand side-by-side with established local giants.
Why You Need This: As an indie artist, you need more than just streams; you need authority.
New Audiences: You reach the customers of the restaurant and the sneaker store, not just your own followers.
Professional Image: Being sponsored by or performing at famous locations tells labels and sponsors that you are a "safe bet" for their money.
Real-World Impact: Our bundles make sure your music is playing where the culture lives—in the shops and the spots that matter.

We then re-grouped at our Rise Up Headquarters in Midtown ATL.
Lastly, we coordinated a skateboarding contest + Big Vonno pop-up concert with popular Atlanta skateshop, SkatePlug ATL.
